~ happy day after mother's day

I've been working on some very special projects lately 

and now that I have given a few of them out I can start sharing them

 

most days my mom and I take her dog for a walk on a local walking trail

my mom feeds the birds and squirrels seeds while her dog chases them away

my mom is usually wearing her red coat so when the birds see the lady in 

the red coat they follow us along waiting for some seed to be tossed

 

so for my moms birthday in April I made her a 'walk in the park' quilled scene

 

it was a hit...

here are 2 pictures that might give you better perspective on how big it is

it is a bit bigger than palm size

the base measures 4" square (or 10 cm) and it is 4" high
the first picture shows the box I put it in
it is a 4" square clear box

the second picture is the stand that I take my card pictures on

and now the purple one

 these are probably my most popular card besides the sheep

Yes I am still here

but just quilling lots of sheep

for my etsy shop and for orders

this little cutie patootie is now up in my shop

I now quill sheep in my sleep lol

~ quilled blue elephants

 ~ I've done light pink & hot pink elephants,
light grey & dark grey elephants

and now was asked to make blue elephants

for a wonderful etsy customer of mine

I never get tired of making these little gems

~ kissing stick people

  ~ I saw this on a t-shirt recently and thought

I could quill that....and I did

 

    not sure if this is exactly how it looked on the t-shirt 

but its my version of it

 ~ I am lovin all the typographical quilling 

being done out there in blog land

it brings the technique to a whole new level 

I did this card in Feb for a friends dad

and if you have been following my work for a while

you will know that this card is true to my simplistic style....
